September 2008 - Hopkins MI Rally

The September Michigan Knights of the Highway rally will be September 12, 13, 14 2008  at the Hidden Ridge RV Resort, 2306 12th Street, Hopkins, Michigan 49328.

Directions: 

From the North On US-131.  South of Grand Rapids, take Exit 59 for 124th Ave.  The off-ramp merges with 12th St.  Continue across 124th Avenue on 12th St.  Go just past the ramp that goes back on US-131 (but don't get on the ramp) and the Hidden Ridge RV Resort is on the right.

From the South On US-131.  North of Kalamazoo, take Exit 59 for 124th Ave.  At the top of the off-ramp turn left on 124th Avenue across US-131.  Turn left on 12th St.  Go just past the ramp that goes back on US-131 (but don't get on the ramp) and the Hidden Ridge RV Resort is on the right.

Everyone welcome to come early and stay late. Wednesday Noon through Monday, all extra nights camping $17.50 per night (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday nights).  If you come before Thursday or stay late, the Michigan Knights of the Highway are not responsible for any damages or injuries you may experience.  If you arrive before Thursday, the parking crew may have to relocate you on Thursday.

Thursday, Sep 11 - 5:30PM – Potluck supper – Bring dish to pass and own table service

Friday, Sept 12  - About 10:00 AM - Golf Outing with Jim & Wanda Riemersma.

 11:30 AM – Red Hat Society will be leaving campgrounds at 11:45. Line up for car pool and pictures at 11:30.

2:00 p.m. Fishing Contest – Catch & Release.  Bring your own equipment and bait will be provided.  Prizes awarded Saturday evening.

5:30 to 6:30 PM – Sub Sandwiches, Fruit, Cookies, Beverages.

Saturday, Sep 13 - 8:00 – 9:30 AM – Catered Pancake & Sausage Breakfast and fellowship with first timers.

10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon  Election of Officers and Nominating Committee

1:00 PM – General Meeting.

2:00 PM – G.L.A.S.S. Meeting (right after the General Meeting)

5:30 – 6:30PM – Catered Dinner – Lasagna, Chicken Bruschetta, Mixed Vegitables, House Salad, Bread Sticks, Cake, Coffee & Tea.

After Dinner – Drawing with Jim & Wanda – MUST be there.

Sunday, Sept 14 - 8:00 – 9:00AM – Donuts and Coffee.

9:15 AM – Singsperation with Jerry Wessel.
