August 2012 - Mason MI Rally

The August Michigan Knights of the Highway rally will be August 17, 18, 19 2012 at the Michigan Trapshooting Association, (GPS) 1534 Service Road, Mason, Michigan 48895 .

The Michigan Trapshooting Association is at 1534 Service Road that is on the West side of the US-127 expressway North from the "W Barns Road" exit.

From I-96 – Near Lansing, take Exit 106 and go South on US-127.  Past Mason, take the exit for Barnes Road.  Turn right off the exit ramp and immediately turn right (North) on Service Road.  Look for the Michigan Trapshooting Association on the left. 

From I-94 – At Jackson, take Exit 138 and go North on US-127.  Past Leslie, take the exit for Barnes Road.  Turn left off the exit ramp, go over the expressway and turn right (North) on Service Road.  Look for the Michigan Trapshooting Association on the left.

Everyone welcome to come early and stay late. Wednesday Noon through Monday, all extra nights camping $18.00 per night (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday nights).  If you come before Thursday or stay late, the Michigan Knights of the Highway are not responsible for any damages or injuries you may experience.  If you arrive before Thursday, the parking crew may have to relocate you on Thursday.

Campsites have 30 amps of power.

Thursday, Aug. 16 -   Spend the day relaxing and chatting with fellow Knights.   

Friday, Aug. 17     -    Trap Shooting practice - time to be announced.  Please bring own guns and ammo. 

11:30 a.m. – Ladies Luncheon will be leaving fairgrounds at 11:45. Line up at the Host’s coach for pictures and car pool at 11:30. 

1:00 p.m. – Crafts:  Make pillow cases.  Bring ¾ yard of the main fabric and ¼ yard of accent material.  Bring sewing machine if you have one. 

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Potluck supper – bring dish to pass and own table service. 

After supper - Building open for games & cards. 

Saturday, Aug 18    -   8:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Morning coffee and meet the First Timers. 

Trap Shooting contest in the afternoon - time to be announced. 

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Catered meal – Pulled Pork, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Cookies. Coffee, Lemonade, Water.. 

7:00 p.m. – Drawing with James & Linda Thompson – MUST be there. 

Sunday, Aug. 19     -   8:00 – 9:00 a.m. – Coffee and Donuts. 

       9:15 a.m. – Singspiration with Glen Perkin.
