April/May 2012 - Allegan MI Rally

The April Michigan Knights of the Highway rally will be May 4, 5, 6 2012 - Allegan  Fairgrounds.
Note:  The Allegan Fairgrounds was already booked for the last weekend in April, so the April rally will actually be held in the beginning of May.

Directions:

From US-31 at Holland - Take M-40 Southeast to Allegan.  Turn Left (Southeast) on Delano Street.  Turn left on Davis.  Turn Right on Douglas/Allegan County Fair Drive.

From Grand Rapids - Take US-131 South to M-222 (Exit 55).  Turn right (West) on M-222.  In Allegan, turn right (North) on N. Cedar Street.  Turn Left on Douglas/Allegan County Fair Drive.

From the West on I-94 - At Exit 60, take M-40 North through Paw Paw and Gobels to Allegan.  M-40 turns left where it joins M-89.  Turn left on M-40 at Cutler.  n Allegan, turn right (North) on N. Cedar Street.  Turn Left on Douglas/Allegan County Fair Drive.

From the East on I-94 - At Exit 74, turn North on US-131.  On US-131 take Exit 49 and turn left off the ramp on M-89 (West).  At Allegan, M-89 joins M-40.  Turn left on M-40 at Cutler.  In Allegan, turn right (North) on N. Cedar Street.  Turn Left on Douglas/Allegan County Fair Drive..

Early Arrival - The rally fee covers camping for the nights of May 4th & 5th 2012.  If you plan to come in on Thursday and/or stay Sunday night, the cost is $17 per night.   If you come before Thursday or stay late, the Michigan Knights of the Highway are not responsible for any damages or injuries you may experience.  If you arrive before Thursday, the parking crew may have to relocate you on Thursday.

Thursday, May 3 - Spend the day relaxing and chatting with fellow Knights.

 Friday, May 4  - About 10:00am - Golf Outing with Jim Riemersma.

               11:30am  -  Ladies Luncheon – If a luncheon is arranged, you will be notified on arrival.

5:30 - 6:30pm  -  Potluck Supper  -  Bring a dish to pass, own table service and beverage (coffee will be provided).                       

Saturday, May 5 - 8:00 - 9:00am  -  Morning Coffee/cookies  - meet the first timers & visitors. 

                              9:00 – 10:15am - Planning / Board Meeting. 

                             10:30  -  General Membership Meeting. 

                   GLASS Meeting immediately following General Membership Meeting. 

     5:30 - 6:30pm  -  Catered Meal  -  Shaved Prime Rib with Bistro Sauce and buns served with Potato Casserole, Grill House Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Veggie Tray and Dip, Fudge Brownies and Assorted Cookies. 

                              7:00 pm   -   Drawing with James & Linda Thompson (Must be present).  Bingo with prizes.   

Sunday, May 6  -  8:00 - 9:00am  -  Coffee & Donuts. 

                               9:15am            -       Singspiration with Jerry Wessel.
