April 2011 - Coldwater, MI Rally

The April Michigan Knights of the Highway rally will be April 29, 30, May 1, 2011 - Branch County Fairgrounds, 262 Sprague Street, Coldwater MI 49036 (GPS will take you near to the entrance).

Directions: 

I-69 From the North or South - Take exit 13.  Go West on US-12 to S. Sprague St.  Turn Left (South) on Sprague St.  Go past the railroad tracks and the bridge over Sauk River.  Turn right (West) on Fairgrounds Drive.  Watch for the entrance and Knights sign on the left.

Everyone welcome to come early and stay late. Wednesday (after 1:00 p.m.) through Monday, all extra nights camping $15.00 per night (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday nights).  If you come before Thursday or stay late, the Michigan Knights of the Highway are not responsible for any damages or injuries you may experience.  If you arrive before Thursday, the parking crew may have to relocate you on Thursday.       Note:  Full hookups!

Thursday, April 28   -           Spend the day relaxing and chatting with fellow Knights. 

Friday, April 29   -      About 10:00am - Golf Outing with Jim Riemersma. 

11:30am  -  Ladies Luncheon - will be leaving fairgrounds at 11:45. Line up          at the Host’s coach for pictures & car pool at 11:30. 

         5:30 - 6:30pm  -  Potluck Supper  -  Bring a dish to pass, own table service and beverage (coffee will be provided). 

                                     After supper –  Building will be open for games and cards.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Saturday, April 30 -   8:00 - 9:00am  -  Morning Coffee/cookies  - meet the first timers & visitors. 

                                    9:00 – 10:15am - Planning / Board Meeting. 

                                    10:30   -              General Membership Meeting.

                                       GLASS Meeting immediately following General Membership Meeting. 

5:30 - 6:30pm  -  Catered Meal  -  Roasted Pulled pork (half BBBQ), Roast Turkey, A gratin Potato, Green Bean Casserole, Fruit Salad, Fresh Veggies, Dinner Roll, Sheet Cake, Coffee & Lemonade. 

                                    7:00 pm   -   Drawing with James & Linda Thompson (Must be present).  Bingo with prizes.  

Sunday, May 1  -        8:00 - 9:00am  -  Coffee & Donuts. 

                                    9:15am            -       Singspiration with Jerry Wessel.

REMEMBERing when we were younger…. at the Capri Drive-in Theater ,Coldwater.  Take  in  First  Run  Movies  on  (2) Two  Giant  outdoor  Screens.  Knight Members, This is a family operated theater so NO Sneaking people in the trunks… Being rowdy or necking in the front or back seats.
