Adding The Free Adobe Reader To Your Computer

1.  First of all, you need the free Adobe Reader.  To see if you have it, click on the Windows Start button in the lower left of your screen.  Click on All Programs.  Look at the top of the list of programs on your computer to see if you have the Adobe Reader.  If you don't find it, look further on in the list you see.  If you see "Adobe Acrobat Reader" that is just an older version that should work fine.  If you find either Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader, you should be all set and you can skip down to paragraph #3.

2.  Click Here to download the free Adobe Reader.   This will take you to the Adobe Web Site page where you can download the free Adobe Reader.  I suggest you un-check the box that says “Free McAfee® Security Scan Plus” as you may not need the McAfee anti-virus software (it will cost you money eventually).  It will take a while for the free Reader to download and install.  It used to be that all computer manufacturers put the Adobe Reader on the computer at the factory.  But, they don’t seem to do that anymore.

3.  Now you should have the free Adobe Reader installed and can open, read or print any PDF file.  You should now be able to open the Knights Application Form.  You will find that many web sites use PDF files and you will now be able to read them.
